Horses in Training 2008 ...
We currently have 26 horses in training:-

#3 year olds

Dry Speedfit

He won first time out at Windsor in June and then ran well when highly tried in a Group Two on his next start he then disappointed on his next two starts,he is now being prepared for the start of the turf season with the hope for soft ground that brings out the best in him.

Magical Speedfit

He started off his career finishing second in his maiden at Windsor and looked very promising he then finished second on his next start and finished second in two more starts ,he is a horse with plenty of speed and I am sure there is plenty to come from him this season as he has now been gelded.

Woolfall Treasure

He has done well over the winter and I am expecting him to do well for us this season now that he has matured as he has done exceptionally well over the winter ,he will be aimed at a low class maiden to start his season off and then be stepped up in class.

Totoman

He had one start last year running well to finish a close up fifth after getting no run and being a backward type he was put away for the year he is now in work and will run on the all weather in February.

GINGER POP
He is becoming frustrating on the track but does run well fresh he has now had a break and will be dropped in class with the hope of making him a winner.

NORTHERN JEM
He won his maiden at Ripon in May and as he is a horse that I like a lot I had been expecting him to improve to a high level he ran well in defeat on more than one occasion and he is still lightly raced horse ,he has been gelded over the winter and I would expect him to make his mark in some of the better handicaps.
POLISH RED
He is a lovely big horse and although he won two races in June last year he was still very immature and we put him away for the rest of the season to give him time to grow into his big frame and he has done very well he starts the season of a mark of 80 and will need to improve and go up the ratings to get into his main aim for the year the Ebor.

#5 year olds
GENEROUS JEM

She is a half sister to Polar Jem -and like her sister she is a late developer reeling off a hat trick of wins in August rising 27lbs in the handicap she starts this season on a mark of 86 she will be aimed at the better handicaps with the aim to get a listed win or better out of her as she is a filly with a good pedigree and it would add to her value.

WOOLFALL BLUE
He did well in the early part of 2007 finishing second in the valuable Rosebery Handicap at Kempton before an all the way win at Windsor he looked a progressive horse and I had big plans for him but his season was ended when he suffered a serious injury on the gallops ,we gave him plenty of time to recover and he is now back in work with another crack at the Rosebery his early season aim.

#6 year old
YOUNG MICK
(rating 111)
After his brilliant season in 2006 it was a bit of an anticlimax after being held up in his work due to foot abscess he found it hard to regain his form but looked to be on the way back when he ran on well to finish a fast finishing second to New Guinea in a conditions race at Leicester ,he then started favorite in a listed race at Kempton were he disappointed and it was felt that we should give him a break and start him off fresh again this season ,he is now back in work and is looking well.
