In the eight years George Margarson has been training racehorses at Graham Lodge in Newmarket, we have achieved much success and many top winners for our owners. You can see to the left our Listed and Group racehorse winners.
Being very close to the main Newmarket racecourse gallop and with easy access
to the 'Bury side' canters and gallops, we have an exceptionally well placed
racehorse yard with
many choices for exercising our racehorses. For jumpers, we are less than a mile
from the links National Hunt gallops and schooling grounds.
WEEKLY YARD NEWS
The team have been in good form over the last couple of weeks yielding five winners with Totoman winning his maiden in good style at Yarmouth and Magical Speedfit finally losing his maiden tag at Brighton with an inspired ride form Ryan Moore Woolfall Treasure then showed his class by winning his maiden at Newcastle before running a big race at Newmarket finishing second to Bronze Canon in a valuable handicap , we then had our first two year old winner in Imperial Guest who won a novice race easily and now heads for the Chesham at Royal Ascot on the 21st June ,as he is an improving type that will be suited by the seven furlong trip I am sure he will take all the beating we then finally won a race with Mick Is Back at Brighton were he won a claimer going away under a good ride from Tom Quealey .
With the horses now in good form we shall start to run the rest of the team and Polish Red heads for Windsor on Monday were I am expecting a big run with John Egan back on board were they are two from two on the track,he has been disappointing in his two runs this year but he is showing all the right signs.
Young Mick is still the stable star and although he has failed to show his form he is back to himself and heads for a listed race at Goodwood should the ground be suitable with his main target the Duke of Edinburgh Handicap at Royal Ascot.
We still have some two year olds for sale among them a lovely half sister to Young Mick which we are hoping to put into a partnership of eight shares anybody interested are welcome contact us and arrange a visit to see them.
