On race days, owners are able to join us for pre-race drinks, a tour of our yard and relaxing hospitality from our special lounge which opens out onto our private gardens.

Close to the town centre of Newmarket, the many attractions of Newmarket are easily available within a few minutes.

Our yard is special; a friendly informal family atmosphere with professional and dedicated staff combined with George Margarson's unique ''hands-on' approach.  George believes that giving the horses their morning feed gives him a good feel for how the horses are in themselves and their wellbeing before going out on exercise.

The yard has 52 boxes which are modern, clean and well maintained.

Our aim and approach is to continue building up the yard with quality horses and attracting owners who appreciate the extra special enjoyment that owning a horse and seeing it trained in a quality yard by a first class trainer can bring.

Graham Lodge Stables is ideally placed for easy access to the exercising gallops.  Our horses go out from the back of the yard onto a horsewalk, turn left into the racecourse and right into town and on to Warren Hill.

Graham Lodge Stables - The YardWe aim to do well at all levels from Group horses to Selling Platers.

You can see from George's record that he has a history of bringing horses on to compete at the highest level.

We would be pleased to give you a tour of our yard and let you know more about what training with George Margarson can offer.

Please contact us and we can take you through the racing experience.
